Wedding Open Evenings, Open Days and Showcase Events

Come along to the award-winning Swynford Manor and discover everything our romantic, chic and elegant venue has to offer for your special day.

An open event is a wonderful way to see our beautiful venue fully dressed for a wedding. An informal time to wander around the house and grounds at your leisure. Take a look and imagine how your dream wedding can become a magical reality.

It's the perfect chance to meet our whole fantastic team and some of our preferred wedding supplier partners too.

We host our Wedding Open Evenings regularly on the second Monday of every month from 4pm to 9pm with the suppliers changing each month to offer a variety of decor and entertainment.

Entry is complimentary with a chilled welcome drink upon arrival.

We are one minute off the A11 between Cambridge and Newmarket and located in Cambridgeshire but minutes from Suffolk, Essex and Herts and only 90 minutes from central London.

Minimum 20 guests, Freshly baked warm double chocolate chip cookies with a shot of either Tequila rose, Baileys or Chocolate baileys served at the end of the night.

Hot doughnuts £4 per person

Freshly baked sugar doughnuts with chocolate dipping sauce.

Mini pie & mash £7 per person

Upgrade your evening buffet to have a selection of Chicken, Beef and Cheese and Apple pies served with chips and gravy.

Midnight board – £250 based on 20 guests

Additional guests £15; must cater for full amount of residents. Homemade sausage roll, selection of sandwiches, cheese twists, hummus.

Sleepover package £275

Includes 3 sofa beds in rooms 4, 9 and 10 plus 4 Z beds in rooms of your choice. Up to 10 additional sleepers. Individual Z beds £35 per bed. Sofa beds £70.

Bedroom Bags – £20 per room

Bottled water, can of Coke, Crisps, Biscuits, Mints, sweets and a Bath Bomb! Based on two guests

Spectacular in every season! It's hard to pick our favourite season when Swynford Manor looks beautiful in every one. Do you have a favourite? Spring and Summer weddings get to benefit from our two distinctive outdoor ceremony areas and our extensive grounds. In Autumn and Winter our grounds transform into copper tones creating the perfect backdrop for your photos. No matter what the season though our beautiful orangery is a bright, unique space for your wedding breakfast!

⭐THROWBACK THURSDAY ⭐ We are so lucky to host so many beautiful weddings at Swynford Manor, and Louise and Dom's was no exception. It was the perfect winter wedding. We love December weddings as you have that extra sparkle around the venue with our Christmas decorations . We have a total of SIX Christmas trees! Despite it being December, Louise and Dom still had glorious weather and got some beautiful photos during golden hour as the sun set. If you aren't as lucky with the weather we still have plenty of wonderful spaces inside for photos!
